Prototype 1
After a discussion with the client, it was decided that the best way to group all of the promotional material together was in a package, created using a net. The net and prototype design below is landscape and opens and closes in a landscape direction. The sticker would be placed as a seal where the envelope style net closes. The logo would also be placed on the from of the package, therefore customers can see what it is before it is opened. The notecard within the envelope is placed backwards, therefore the slit which is holding the promotional material together, is shown through the back, therefore customers have a sneak preview.
Feedback from the client was that they were happy with the design and layout of the net, however they would prefer it if it was portrait and opened from the side, like a card almost.
Prototype 2
Below shows the design after a second review and a new prototype using a new vertical layout therefore it opens like a card, as this relates to the events business and greeting cards etc. It's more personal to the company and customers it's sent out to also.
Prototype 3
The third and final prototype, draws out the design on illustrator to see what size paper it would fit onto. The sizes had to be changed slightly for it to fit onto an A3 size of paper. therefore it saves money and is more efficient. The design also needs to be printed double sided, therefore it needs to be laid out and lined up correctly.
