• Complementary Colour scheme
• Draws attention using a small amount of a certain colour against the mundane usual information across the rest of the app.
• Blue instills calm/relaxing which counteracts the stimulating use of technology and screens.
• It also evokes reliability which is important as the apps aim is to get kids to trust and listen to wonder as a change from their parents. 
• One problem is it mirrors images and ideals from those important adult apps such as banking etc.
• Although this may mean that kids are more accepting as they are being treated as adults.
