Above are the existing key visuals for the grown up chocolate company , and in the brief it was stated to create three new visuals for Vegan, Nut Free and Dairy Free. The illustrator created these based on the same concept and theme of the existing illustrations and landing page, therefore the design, concept and illustrations are all cohesive and reinforce the idea of nostalgia in nature.
Above are the key visuals the illustrator came up with and below shows the experimentation of colours, outlines and backgrounds with an aim to try and make them correspond with the existing layouts, packaging, colours and illustrations. Whilst also trying to keep the aesthetic and ideals of the excisiting icons and packaging of the Grown Up Chocolate Company now.
Above shows experimentations with outlines and the colours, using the colour scheme chosen for the packaging and identity, again it's natural and inspired by nature whilst also being highly saturated and vibrant. The issue with these designs was the illustrations are very small and the strokes are very thing therefore they would probably become lost on the packaging and be hard to see.
As a result, the above designs have been experimented with coloured backgrounds, using white negative space as the designs. This works much better as it makes the designs stand out against the other colours, text and illustrations on the packaging. Text has also been experimented with using their standard Headline One font, making the design fit alongside the existing key visuals, but using the illustrations and colour to relate them and fit them into the new identity.

The final icons chosen to be used are the ones shown in figure 2, which helps the illustrations of the icons to stand out, whilst also being able to be placed anywhere on the packaging design, not just in an area with white space. It means the placement of the visuals are versatile.
