Below that looks at the work of Dima Shiryaev and his portfolio, currently focusing on piece for poster and branding designs for a nightclub in St Petersburg, which are extremely effective in catching people’s eye. Using visual expressiveness and reducing unnecessary details and noice makes for a more formal and clear design style.
Research looking on pinterest and various design websites, looking at previously designed event posters, both more fun and playful designs, as well as a focus more on formal event poster designs. A mixture of illustration, photography and type has been used.
Research into Summer, looking at what the target audience relates and associates Summer with. Key insights were obviously ice cream and ice lollies represented the season for a lot of people, parties, celebrations, friends and barbecues. Within the final design this research is communicated through the use of design style, shapes, imagery and colour, as well as a consideration for the audience.
