Below shows experimentations with a range of typefaces, looking at scripted fonts, to be in keeping with the formality of the event. As well as looking at using more display and sans serif typefaces, in keeping with the design as a whole. The scripted typefaces weren’t quite legible enough, especially from a distance. Ultimately Futura medium and Futura medium italic were chosen as the geometric style of Futura fitted with the aesthetic of the design as well as keeping a contrast between the two.
