Event Company Branding: Business Card Development and Feedback

Feedback

  • The ring works best when it is off the page, but covers a large amount of the card.
  • Needs to be off the page or in the middle, not off-centred.
  • The ring gives the business card a more contemporary and abstract look whilst also incorporating the watercolour.
  • Experiment with writing in and outside of the circle.
  • Try without the RSVP idea as it may not be obvious to other people.
  • Experiment with printing the black, darker designs to see what they will look like on paper to help with decisions.
  • Look at different types of paper, needs to be textured not just plain paper.
  • Lighter backgrounds are softer but black works well for corporate/party nighttime events.
  • Picking out a typeface, the client will look at more handwritten typefaces to see which ones they think will work best.
  • Concerned about the typeface contrasting with the logo because it’s neat and structured and maybe scrawly handwriting won’t work.
  • Handwriting on bottom two of the black designs - angelface font.
  • Promo materials and packs, finalise that tonight what needs to be included, etc.
  • Experiment with the title of company inside the ring with the rest of the information outside.
