Buddy Scheme Logo: Initial Ideas

  • Incorporates university Logo
  • Two logos together
  • Shows friendship.
  • Shows that it is run by the uni not just by students, it's safe and reliable.
  • Could use the university colours of bright pink and turquoise.
  • Looks like a mosaic, therefore it represents the roots of the university.
  • Quite vague, showing the varied topics you can speak about.
  • Shows the versatility of how different people can use the buddy's.
  • Individual to everyones needs.
  • One criticism, maybe too similar, may want to move away from the university and in need of a more unique, individual logo.

  • Coffee cup idea.
  • Friendly, relatable.
  • Shows a casual meeting situation, not too serious.
  • Shows that the meetings don't need to be intimidating or scary.
  • The idea of meeting up with friends over coffee.
  • Casual chats about varying topics.
  • Also shows the free coffee and the base of the university cafe where the meetings can take place, with free coffee vouchers.
  • Gives incentive.
  • One criticism, people may think it is a society, not realise how important it is.

  • Third and final idea.
  • A range of icons representing the different topics of conversation.
  • Varying from housing, money, work to social life.
  • Shows that it doesn't have to just be about serious things.
  • Can tell what it is from first glance.
  • Get's rid of confusion.
  • Helps people with ideas or encourages them if they have issues within these areas.
