Year 3 - Morning
- Reading - One on one reading with students, focusing on targeted readers. All have different levels and reading ages and they move up through these. As an incentive they have bookmarks for the 'Reading Challenge', to encourage them to read at home and at school.
- English - Shades of Meaning - Students learn about shades of meanings by arranging the words from weakest to strongest. Dictation - Reading out a sentence aloud whilst the children spell it out. FUN
- Maths - CLICK, Time Tables, Measurements.
Year 3 - Afternoon
- RE- Learning about different religions, specifically Jewish Weddings, learning about promises and vows, what these mean and can they give examples. Creating their own Ketubah, incorporating art, literacy and RE.
- Spellings in the morning.
- 5 a day fitness.
- L.O. to stick in, glue/stickers.
- VCOP - Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation
