One of the important aspects of production was to consider the different paper stocks, specifically focusing on the different thicknesses, double sided printing and finishes.Making sure they were the most appropriate stock for each of the different printed final outcomes. The final posters were printed on satin stock, to achieve a sophisticated, professional feel to the designs to fit alongside Artisan’s aesthetic and aspirations. The thickest stock was chosen for the double sided printed pages for the book, Olin Regular 300gsm, it needs to be durable as it an interactive tactile printed outcome.
The book was produced by cutting the pages down, then using a hole punch to create holes to then place the ring binders through. These were chosen as the book needed to be tactile, which means the different elements of the book can be interacted with successfully, as well as in keeping with Artisan’s modern and contemporary design aesthetic and the metropolitan, industrial areas where the drinks and book will be in stock.
The photographs below show the finished printed outcomes photographed professionally, showing the quality of the printing and production .
