The Grown Up Chocolate Company Identity: Feedback


  • The most successful idea is the flowers, it shows the natural, healthy range of the bars and also relates to the target audience. 
  • The woodland animal concept may come across as too childish and therefore won't be suitable for their target audience, it will in fact be the opposite.
  • The idea of science and the woodland animals doesn't incorporate the idea or feeling of nostalgia into the designs, which is one of the main aims of the company and their existing brand. 
  • The flowers and nature illustrations also relate to the handmade and indulgent personality of the brand which was an important concept to communicate to the consumer.
  • The name wistful works well, as it has connotations with nostalgia and the feeling of being reminiscent of the past. 
  • The use of woodland animals has been overused and overdone on packaging within the healthy snack market, therefore a more innovative idea is needed.
  • The science idea may be too complicated and doesn't encourage people to eat or pick up the bars.
