Feedback on Research



Looking at what to research into for the topic of Studio Brief 02, it came to light to loo into more teaching and educational means of creativity and how this is used to reduce the use and risks of technology, therefore more areas of research are:


  • Games, role play games, which don't involve technology, existing designs/new innovative designs of these and the importance of these to children and their development. 
  • Look into the interaction of humans and how this is an important aspect of life, and the affect of technology on this. How children can be more sociable and use play and creativity to interact with one another. 
  • Educational museums and art galleries and what they have available to children , and whether this steps away from technology and encourages creativity through playing and doing tactile things and objects. 
  • How we as a human race and social interactions can be better than technology, what can be  more interesting and encourage kids to get off technology and want to interact with each other socially instead. 
For Studio Brief 01 ideas and research consisted of:

  • Looking more into the religious aspect of gospel music, and what makes it such a social engaging atmosphere, compared to other religions and churches such as the Church of England. 
  • Look at films and songs involving these artists.
  • The interconnectivity between gospel and the likes of jazz and soul music and the relationship between these, how they have formed each other.
  • Starting to think visually, looking at iconography and how to communicate the genre through these without explicitly communicating the music style.
