Primary research consisted of heading around the university itself, taking a number of photographs from all the various different course areas and places around the university. Specially looking for patterns or interesting objects and shapes.
Looking at the different materials and materials related to each course, as well as getting to know the university a bit better, looking at the spaces where the exhibition and show will actually be held, therefore the university's and it's building's personality can be applied to the design.
Some of the photographs were then edited to be monochrome, as these were then used within some initial ideas, experimenting with the tiles, shapes and colours.
