Looking at past concepts and branding for previous shows, giving an idea of what had already been done, what’s successful, what works, what doesn’t work, as well as the overarching ideas and style of designs which are usually selected and produced. Below hows the most recent branding, it has a heavy focus on type and shapes, using a monochrome colour palette.
The branding of ‘Made Here’, which uses three dimensional objects and a mixed colour palette of both vibrant and unsaturated colours. The final designs bring the most successful aspects of previous designs, such as shapes, typography and colour to curate a strong and celebratory promotional campaign which communicates to the range of audiences in different ways.
The designs above all have a strong use of photography and using people within their designs, alongside strong and bold uses of vibrant colours.
The above concept of 'This is not the end', uses and focuses on using purely Typography, with also the added vibrancy of the colour of bright pink, which is also used in the University's branding.
