OUGD505: Parent Youtube Adverts

The designs below show the final design of the social media adverts which would be seen in the context of youtube adverts before videos. This is a successful way of distributing and promoting the app as lots of parents now follow other family, mum and dad vloggers. Therefore this could be a way for the youtube creators to promote the app but also advertisements before the videos play. 

The colour palette is very subdued, however it follows the colours of the app creating a strong brand identity. Staying away from the use of orange, which insinuates that it's appropriate for adults and there is a different approach to designing the children's advertisements. 

There is also a lot of white space, creating a calm and serious tone, using advertising tactics of guilt, encouraging parents to want their best for their kids and therefore download the app. The icons are taken from the app itself to show an insight into the app, showing parents it's kid friendly.
