What makes a good Nanny
  • Flexible, loves company of children, basic understanding of child development, patience, lots of energy. 
  • Safe, understanding, good communicator. 
  • Reliable, responsible, trustworthy, organised, self motivated. 
  • Creative, proactive, making a positive difference to the children in her care. 
Things Nannies need


  • Be able to plan and arrange safe, fun learning opportunities.
    • Know how to plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks.
    • Have first aid training.
    • Have driving experience if required.
    • Show good organisational skills.
    • Have an interest in children as individuals.
    • Have a confident, positive personality.

    Leeds Arts Union need to create a poster/visual identity which can be used to promote the Ball. 



    Background/ Considerations


    ‘After last year’s Summer Ball, Leeds Arts Union is throwing another, we'd love for you to create a poster/visual identity which we can use to promote the Ball. ‘

    The Summer Ball is a more formal affair than other Leeds Arts Union events, so the design needs to represent this.

    This is intended to be a quick brief, and we'll get in touch if there's anything that needs tweaking.


    Mandatory Requirements

    -       The design needs to be A3 in size.
    -       Needs to include:

    - Incorporate the Leeds Arts Union logo 
    - Be clear enough for all students to read
    - Leave space/placeholder type for the date and time
    - Leave space/placeholder type for the venue
    - Leave space/placeholder type for the ticket price
    - Include the text 'Live Bands and Food Available'

    Deliverables

    Produce an A3 colour Poster design for Leeds Arts University’s Summer Ball.
